 Honoring Landon Kupsch

"A Regal Through and Through"

Sunday marked the final chapter of an incredible journey for our captain, Landon Kupsch, as he played his 142nd and final game with the Spruce Grove Regals. Over the years, Landon was a force on the ice, leaving an undeniable mark on this team and its history. With an outstanding 129 goals, 105 assists, and a total of 234 points, his impact spoke for itself. Whether on the power play—where he scored 35 times—or killing penalties with 5 shorthanded goals, Landon was a game-changer in every situation.

This season, he wore the ‘C’ with pride, leading not just by example but through his dedication, work ethic, and unwavering commitment to his teammates. Landon was a fierce competitor, a trusted leader, and a player who embodied what it meant to be a Regal.

Landon, thank you for everything you gave to this team. Your legacy will live on in the room, on the ice, and in the hearts of those who had the privilege of playing alongside you. We hope you enjoyed every moment—you earned it.

🚨Graduating Player Alert🚨

Honoring Mason Thomas

“A True Competitor”

On Sunday, we celebrated the outstanding career of Mason Thomas as he stepped onto the ice for his 73rd and final game with the Spruce Grove Regals. Mason’s hockey journey took him across leagues and provinces, from IHA U18 Prep in the CSSHL to the USPHL with the Carolina Hurricanes, then the QJHL, before bringing his talents and leadership back home to Alberta for two incredible seasons with the Regals.

In 72 games, Mason was a rock on the blue line, tallying 11 goals and 34 assists for 45 points. Whether contributing offensively with 4 power-play goals or stepping up in key moments with a shorthanded tally, his presence was felt in every game. But beyond the numbers, Mason’s relentless drive to win and his ability to push his teammates to be better left a lasting impact. A fierce competitor and a disciplined leader, he played with intensity while accumulating just 63 penalty minutes—proof of his ability to play hard and play smart.

Mason, your leadership, work ethic, and commitment to this team will not be forgotten. The Regals will miss you, but your example will continue to inspire those who follow in your footsteps. Thank you for everything—you’ll always be a part of this team.
